Dealer Days

Since our last trader conference 2 years ago in Wiesbaden, contact with our foreign trading partners has been kept mainly by e-mail, telephone or online conference. Fortunately, we were now able to meet in person again in October 2021.

This time we came together in Hamburg Bergedorf, with over 25 participants from 14 European countries!

With the aim of familiarising our dealers with our machines and their advantages in the best possible way and strengthening cooperation, a varied and exciting programme was prepared in advance.

Starting from the hotel in Hamburg Bergedorf, several Europress machines were visited by bus on three days at our customers' premises, where the functionalities and technical details were explained.

Our aim was to give a detailed insight into our portfolio, which is why we visited a considerable range of plants:

After the theoretical part in the conference room on the first day of our meeting, where our machines and our services were presented and discussed, we started the practical part with a short drive to Oststeinbek to Meinhardt Recycling. There, an HP-B 180 V5H4 with 2x55 kW drive power, cross binding, pre-press flaps and piston bottom slide reliably compacts just about any material imaginable.

The next day we visited a commercial waste sorting plant including conveyor technology and channel baler at GAR in Bassum.

We continued to Roschen Agrarhandel in Grasberg, where we were given an insight into hay drying and then watched an EP 80 VG 6 with twine binding compress the dried hay into compact, stackable and transportable bales.

The third day took us to the Ihlenberg landfill of IAG Selmsdorf, one of the largest landfills of its kind in Europe. There, it was impressive to see how the powerful 2-Ram baler on a crawler chassis is used for compacting artificial mineralfibres: 210 t pressing force, 2x75 kW drive power, equipped with vacuum extraction and filter system and connected direct wrapper. By placing these cleanly compacted and foiled bales in the landfill body, valuable landfill volume is saved and an improvement in the stability of the landfill is achieved.

In addition to all the information and technical discussions, the physical well-being and personal exchange were not neglected. The response to this event allows us to look ahead with confidence and we are looking forward to the upcoming projects that we will realise outside Germany together with our trade partners.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants and our customers for making it possible for us to visit them on site.
